Antique German Black Forest Walnut Jewelry Box with Relief Carving on Lid N/R :

This is an old Black Forest Jewelry Box from Germany. The lid has relief carving of leaves and flowers. The three sides have shield designs and the back has a quilted pattern. The center of the lid has a cloth medallion which is in poor condition. It is stained and worn. The wood is in good condition with a few normal bumps on the corners. The feet are intact. The box has a lock but there is no key. It measures 8 1/2” by 6” by 5” tall. A nice old Black Forest Piece. Enjoy!
