For sale is an antiqueDRESDEN ATLANTIC COD FISH Christmas ornament from Germany c. 1900-1910. This is a rarer fish form for Dresdens and it\'s quite large measuring 5 3/4\" in length. It\'s made of pressed cardboard in molds and then finished in a silver color which has aged to a beautiful patina over the many years. It\'s in terrific condition with great detail for the cod\'s fins and scales.A string has been tied around the back fin for ease in hanging from a Christmas tree. This is an impressive ornament that will be an asset to any antique holiday collection.
