For sale is an antique DRESDEN HORSESHOE with RIDER on HORSE Christmas ornament from Germany c. 1900. This ornament is quite rare and made of molded cardboard with great detailing. All the highlights of the horse\'s hide, mane, and reins can be seen, as well as his saddle. The front of the horseshoe even shows little faceted rivets and two stars at the top. The whole ornament has been painted a silver color that has mellowed to a nice patina over the years. It measures 2 1/2 inches in size and remains in outstanding condition with only minor discoloration in places. This would look amazing hanging on a feather tree this winter . . . a superior Dresden ornament to add to any antique Christmas collection !!
