Antique German Kaffee and Zucker Porcelain Canisters to hold sugar (zucker) and coffee (kaffee) in approx. 1 liter size with lettering in cobalt blue on each. Each has what appears to be pewter screw top lids. The sugar canister has an incised no. “43\" on the bottom. There is also a hairline crack on the front and a small piece of one bottom pedestal missing but it these mars do not detract. The coffee canister has an incised no. “49\" on the bottom. There is also part of the bottom pedestal missing on this one. These are great decorator items which were used in old Germany approx. 100 years ago. I have never removed the lids to view the insides of each. They both need a good cleaning for display. Buyer pays $12.35 S & H Priority mail within the continental U S.
