Welcome to my Sunny FLA sales! This is an antique Bisque French Or German head doll. She measures appx 10 in tall. She has a BEAUTIFUL painted face with brown glass eyes, slightly open moulded mouth, pierced ears with black glass earrings and yellow hair glued on her head. she has a painted compo/wooden jointed 9 pc body her arms are strung pin jointed. Her head is swivel. She has a crack in her compo chest on front and back but she is still intact. She is wearing what looks to be hand made yellow taffata and lace trim gown with black velvet ribbon trims, underskirt, pantaloons and newer black shoes. Her outfit was sewn on to her , i opened the back to see what was underneath but cannot take completely off without destroying it. She has no chips or cracks on head, Cannot find any makers marks could be under her hair. ...... She comes with her miniature Antique 5 1/2 in bisque head little girl also with a compo painted pin jointed body, bisque head does not swivel , tiny blue glass eyes, braided wig glued on, painted on face, wearing a two pc lace trim oufit, Marked on back head 13 66? I have had questions on this doll and...., i found an old doll book i had and looked up Belton type and i believe she might be....She does have small holes on top of her head which where used for stringing.
