Peter Scherf founded his Doll Factory in Germany in the late 1870\'s. The Doll Heads were produced by Armand Marseille\'s Porcelain Factory. As such, the back of the Doll head has markings \"A. M. Germany\" (Armand Marseille) and \"P. Sch.\" (Peter Scherf). Please examine the listing photos and condition report and feel free to message me with additional questions. Her head and jointing are a bit loose, but she can stay on a doll stand or in a sitting position, and the head and joints will stay in place. She measures approximately 14 inches in length, and the measurement was taken with her wig and shoes attached. A beautiful doll, considering her age.
