Antique German Pressed Glass Beer Stein Inlaid Lid Student Happy Birthday c.1890s

Description: This simple but very elegant glass stein was made in around 1890s. Pressed glass with slightly tampered body.

The lid features a porcelain insert hand-painted with the words \"Zur Geburtstag\" - \"For a birthday!\". The front is engraved with two names: \"Arthur Wollbrandt s/l Christian Franke\". They were the once who presented the stein to the birthday man. The letter \"s/l\" indicate that the presenters and the birtday man were students belonged to the same Student Society.

The stein is in excellent condition with no chips, lines or repairs, just some minimal age-related wear. I guarantee my description and dating. It is 6\" tall to the top of the the thumblift, 0.3L capacity.
