You can see examples of this Hertwig girl in my book in three different sizes. This size is by far the smallest. She is known for her pink skirt, her blue neck scarf and her ruffled bloomers (which aren\'t really noticeable in this size.) I was able to find a 1914 Marshall Field ad offering her at $.90/dozen! I won\'t be offering this piece for that amount. The \"z\" in the title tells you it is a variation on the example in the book. This baby is on skis, and they are so very carefully made that I believe they are original. This is a very nicely molded example. You will be able to see the folds in the tiny bow at the back of her neck! The right ski has a chip at the pointed front, but there are no problems with the bisque.
