Antique Gilt Brass German 21\" Wall Plates - Circa 1900 Barbarossa & Magnus:

You are offerding a set of antique gilt brass wall hangings. These were purchased from a now deceased General and Marauder pilot in the Army who was stationed in Germany most of his career and collected antiques. These are circa 1900. One is a relief image of Barbarossa with the long beard, crown and neckless and is rounded by the inscription \"Fridericus Barbarossa\". The other is a relief image of Charles the Great with a long beard, crown and in armor and is rounded by the inscription \"Carolus Magnus\". They are in excellent condition. One of the pictures has a missing nub. Not sure what it was for but it was secured by a screw. You can see a close up picture of where it is missing and the other plate where it is not for comparison. They have hangers on the back so they can be hung on a wall.The last two images are from an sale in 1999. They were taking with better lighting to see the true color so I thought I\'d include them. Also, you\'d have to shine them up to look like that which I didn\'t want to do.
