in the late 19th century.

An amazing piece that is hand painted with a large scene on the front of 3 halfnakedladies in a landscape surrounding with the rest of the piece having that really nice red and gold ground color and some superb gold trim as well as some tiny raised white dots in the design over and under the scene.

The mounts are brass or bronze and have a nice design to them as well.

The piece is marked with the under glaze blue beehive or shield mark underneath.

The entire piece is 15 cm tall ( not including the thumb piece of the mounts) and it has a bottom diameter of ca. 9,5 cm

The tankard is in great condition with some wear to the gilding of the handle as shown but otherwise it is pretty much perfect.
