For sale is a very old and rare Griswold waffle maker patented 1880 and 1893. This piece is older than any of the other Griswold waffle makers presently listed. Prior to the Cross Logo. There is a repair on the lower half as shown on the 5th picture. This causes a gap between the two pieces. There is crack in the upper piece above where the repair is in the lower piece seen in the 9th picture. The interior surfaces are in very nice condition. Surface rust and light pitting is evident but, I believe it will clean up nicely. I am not experienced at cleaning these. I know the damage and repair detract from the overall value, but still worthy of a place of honor in any collection. The item was found in an estate. It measures 8\" across and approx 13\" long. There is no base. Thanks for looking.
