This pretty T & V Limoges porcelain tray is decorated with a single golden yellow rose tucked in among soft hand painted pink and white roses. The talented artist has chosen a pastel blue, green and gray palette as the back drop for her gorgeous masterpiece. The portrait is presented on an oblong tray or plate with two open handles accented by embossed gold leaves. The rim has a scalloped shape and is heavily trimmed in gold.

The tray is in excellent condition. Free of chips, cracks, repairs and crazing. It measures approx. 12 1/4\" in long x 10 1/8\" wide. It is marked in green, T&V LIMOGES FRANCE for Tressemann & Vogt. It is signed Sister M. Rose Cecilia. The mark dates the tray between 1892 and 1907.
