I believe this lovely hand sewn piece pre-dates WWII, and it is in EXCELLENT condition overall, but will need to be professionally cleaned, re-stretched and matted!! Look at the photos and you will see some light age spotting, mostly along the edges and the wrinkling in the fabric!! I believe the thread is silk as well as the background material!! The signature and chop mark are also hand sewn!! The wooden frame is solid with minor wear!! Approx. 39.5\" X 17.5\" overall, and the scene is 33.5\" X 11.5\" within the matting!!Quoted shipping charges are based on the farthest zone from me, so if you live in closer proximity to Greensboro, NC, the cost will go down!!
