This Hawkes cut glass decanter is believed to have been made between 1910 and 1920 and made by T.G. Hawkes & Company of Corning, NY. The piece is marked along with the stopper with the trefoil ring enclosing a Fleur-de-lis and two hawks. There is some fogging to the bulbous portion of the decanter, but generally disappears when filled with liquid. There are also some scratches on the inside of the stem, most likely from cleaning. The base has random scratches from years of use. The only flaw to the glass that we found was an impact spot on the lower portion of the bulbous base. The decanter measures about 11 3/4\" tall and about 5 1/2\" in diameter at the largest section of the base. This is a still very useable and beautiful piece.
