This is an antique Henry Troemner (Philadelphia, PA) apothecary box or counter scale that was used primarily in pharmacies to weigh out drugs and other items. This scale measures 17\" long, 7\" wide and is about 5 1/2\" tall. It is heavy, I would say about 12 pounds. A terrific display piece or a great piece to add to your collection!
No bowls. Woodwork has some wear in certain areas ( see photos). Marble has one small nick ( see photos) but is otherwise in very good condition with no cracks, scratches, etc. Not sure if balance is accurate.
