Up for sale is a Wonderful Antique Herschede Grandmother/Grandfather Hall Clock. Circa 1941. The clock\'s dimensions are approximately; H- 72\", W- 21\" & D- 12\". Model Number 507, Serial Number 347461.

The Case: The mahogany case is in excellent physical condition. The case retains its original finish and has a nice patina. The case has few overall flaws and looks much better in person. The satin dust covers on the side doors and top of the case do have rips and tears on them. The top dust cover does have some tape on them. Please see photos.

The Dial/Face: The silver plated dial/face is in excellent physical condition and has a nice established patina. All 3 hands are original to the clock.

The Door: The door opens and closes appropriately. The lock works well and comes with the original key.

The Mechanism: The Herschede 8 day weight driven 1/4 hour Westminster chime mechanism is original to the clock and in working order. The clock chimes on the 1/4 hour and strikes on the hour. The sound is terrific and resonates for a nice long time. There are no cracks that I can see on any of the tubes.

The Glass: The glass is original and is scratch, chip free. The glass has a \"wave\" to it.

The Weights: The brass weights are original to the clock and have a nice established patina. There are a few small scratches on some of the weights. These scratches are small, but something you should know about.

The Pendulum is an original Herschede.

The clock is being put for sale in \"as found\" condition. All sales are final.
