Impressive and rare circa 1840\'s German Villeroy and Boch charger plaque. Heavy porcelain,blue transfer image of cherubs, Neptune, dolphins surrounded by a gilt Greek key design and a border of swans, cat tails, scallops and lily pads. Marked as shown. Measures 15 1/2\" in diameter and 1 1/2\" deep. Acquired from a wealthy San Francisco estate. No cracks nor repairs, wear to gilt and high points as expected.
