This is a bisque Kewpie Doll figurine with 2 Kewpies hugging. Kewpie dolls were modeled after the popular Kewpie comic strip by Rose O\'Neill in the early 1900s. The bisque dolls were produced in Germany from 1912 to 1915. The figurine is marked 4856 on one foot and the original Kewpie Germany sticker is still intact. The figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
