This is a wonderful antique/vintage Indian Sarangi featuring wonderful and colorful tolepainted fruit. From the research I have found, this appears to unusual decoration as most are either plain wood or painted withdancers in traditional dress. I was not able to locate another like it.

Approx. measurements are 22 1/2\" long and 6 1/2\" wide.

As you can see it has wear indicative of age. All knobs are there however they do show some wear on ends. There is a dent on onside of front as shown. The some of the strings are loose and will need to be tightened before playing.
