Antique India Kukri Dagger 19thto Early 20thc. Horn Handle Lion Head Pommel Original Sheath

The dagger is in nice condition with the steel marked India blade having some discoloration, normal scuffs,

light rust, scratches and a few small nicks to the sharp edge. The cow or water buffalo horn handle is in nice

condition with coated brass fittings and Lion head pommel. The handle shows signs of normal wear from use

with typical scuffs, scratches and nicks from use and age. The dagger is very tight and shows no sings of looseness.

The lightly embossed leather covered wood sheath shows signs of wear with some loose stitching, dings, scuffs,

scratches and fitted for two small knifes that have gone missing.

The dagger measures approximately 16” long straight line point to top of pommel with 11-1/2” blade point to handle

and in sheath overall 17-1/4”.
