0208 Indian Silver Dish

Description

A 19th century Indian grade silver dish with three feet. It is about the size of a bonbon dish or sugar bowl. It has an intricate pattern in the style of the Northern regions with scrolling floral and foliate designs. The rim is wavy and has chased detail. The feet appear to be in the form of fish or similar. The interior would appear to have been gilded originally, this now being largely worn away through cleaning. No makers marks detected, likely around 1860-80 period.
