Natural splits in wood and natural imperfections give it a natural beauty and integrity however do not detract from stability and sturdiness of the cane. Chips in finish from normal wear and tear as seen in photos. Shaft 1 1/2” at top which tapers to 3/4” at base. Nice blackthorn finish to shaft. Metal tip. Great came for a great price.
