Antique Islamic Persian Qajar Safavid Kashan Garras Turkish Middle Eastern Bowl:

I mistakenly purchased this bowl thinking it may be an early Chinese bowl. It\'s not and I now think it must be Middle Eastern though I have no knowledge of the wares. It was purchased from the Descendants of Major Sir Hubert Winthrop Young (1885-1950) who was friends with T.E. Lawrence (also known as Lawrence of Arabia).
It measures 22cm in diameter and 8.5cm in height. Condition is very good with a few flakes to the glaze on the rim plus wear and natural firing flaws. No cracks or chips. It was clearly fired upside down on three stilts (the spur marks are visible in the well).
