approximately 9 1/2\" dia x 2\" h.

We are pleased to offer a footed dish whose condition is commensurate with age. There is one significant crack, smaller hairlines and crazing lines. There are scrapes and chips to the glaze at the rim, and quite a bit of damage to the foot on the underside. In this area, there are remnants of white paint which is flaking away.

It is a rare and remarkable piece depicting a cherub holding a tethered bird. The still vibrant decoration is rendered in shades of brown, yellow and blue. The white glaze remains bright as well.
