From afabulous estate at a wonderful old home, this lovely wall pocket is marked Hand Painted / Made in Japan on the back (as shown in last pic). I would estimate that it was produced between c.1930 and 1960. The hand painted bird is mostly red and yellow and the tree limb is green with little white flowers on it.

Fairly good-sized, it measures approximately 4 1/2\" x 2 1/4\" x 7 1/2\" tall.

It appears to be in generally excellent, clean condition with no damage that I can see. [PLEASE do examine the pictures carefully since they are an essential part of the listing - and I tried to take pics from all angles -- but note that the bright white and/or yellow spots on pics are just glare/flash!] A beautiful old piece to add to a collection or to enjoy displaying and using by itself!!
