This is an unusual James W. Tufts triple plated napkin ring. It sets on 3 small feet and is 4\" wide and about 3 1/2\" tall. I cannot for the life of me figure out the purpose of the small round mirror, which is almost 2\" in diameter, is but it has a holder for it on one side. The other side has a v-shaped part that looks totally useless to me, it may also have had a piece broken from it. It is hard to tell, but the ends of it are a little rough. The bottom has a stamp which says: James W. Tufts - Boston- Warranted- Triple Plate - 1599. This is an estate find and is being sold \"as is\". Thanks for looking!
