Antique Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase with a fabulous silver wired dragon against a midnight blue ground. Wonderful execution, and attention to detail. Clearly from one of the better studios. The 6\"H vase is in excellent condition with just light wear, and firing pits. (did just notice small pin prick chip just above dragons right rear bottom claw. Photo 6) Brass rims and throat.
The vase comes with a very ornately carved base that suits the vase very well. Regretfully, a previous owner at some point decided to drill the base so that a screw could be used to keep the two together. Nonetheless, a beautiful display piece.
