This Japanese Imari bowl measures 7\" across. It was made in the Chuji Fukagawa studios around 1910 and has the most fascinating decoration on several different panels. These designs are well documented in Nancy Schiffer\'s book on Japanese Porcelain. The bowl edge has a scalloped design usually referred to a lotus shaped. Fully signed on the base with the Fukagawa mark. This vase is in excellent condition with no damage or cracks and virtually no loss of gilding. These Fukagawa items are always of top quality with very white porcelain and carefully hand-applied decoration. A really nice antique.Insured UK postage by HERMES will be FREE of charge.
