The center of the plate depicts a group of swallow birds inflight over wild flowers. There\'s many sophisticated geometrical patterns, scrolling vines and flowers motif, as well as the Chrysanthemum Crest of the Japanese Imperial family around the center of the plate.Dimensions:
12\" (30.5 cm) diameter.
Enamel pitting and rough surface. There is a crack that goes almost around the base of the foot rim, which is very thick (see picture), probably from firing and cooling process because there\'s no dent from physical damage.
