DETAILS OF ITEM

This piece measures 4 inches tall. It is made of pottery finished in a brownish pink color and it depicts a standing rabbit. Instead of often being portrayed as a cuddly figure, the posture, facial feature and the glazed green eyes emphasizes and captures the wild spirit of this animal very well.

It has an artist seal at the bottom of the piece that reads “Made by Ginzo”. There is an old repair to its left hind foot (see photo) and a tiny chip to its left ear; otherwise, the rest of its condition still very good and its age is from the 1930\'s.
