This is a GENUINE WWII Era Japanese sword made by Minamoto Yoshiharu, mounted in WWII Shingunto mounts. Yoshiharu\'s real name was Ando Hiroshi.Blade: Nice wide and heavy blade. Shows tight hada, without any forging openings. Beautiful sanbonsugi hamon throughout the blade, with a full komaru boshi around the tip. Long 27 1/4 inch cutting edge (68.2cm) There are minor scuffs and scratches, and some very minor spots of oxidation, but overall the blade remains in excellent war time polish. There are only a couple of tiny nailcatchers - no chips or cracks in the cutting edge, and the blade is straight and true.Mei (Signature): Signed on one side \"MINAMOTO YOSHIHARU SAKU\". 1 meguki ana.Fittings: Matching type WWII Shingunto mounts. Tsuba and 4 seppa are stampted with the number \"66\", 2 oyster seppa are a later addition. Everything fits together nicely. Nice cat scratch habaki.Tsuka (Handle): In good condition, with original nice tightly wrapped ito. Missing sarute. Saya (Scabbard): In good condition, with all fittings intact. Looks to have been cleaned and repainted. Paint has a nice textured finish and does not deter the overall aesthetics. Screw in the kojiri is not the standard type. Dimensions:
