Hi, im a new seller and have for many years been collecting Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Southeast asian antiques, equally my parents collected so each week i will be listing a good mix of weird and unusual items, please keep me listed and help me get a 100% response score.OBJECT// Antique Japanese very fine carved boxwood Netsuke of a family of Five Turtles crawling on each other, incredibly rich in fine detail to the shells and scales, signed by the Artist Gekkou, like all good Netsuke it as good from every angle including the bottom, the piece is 19th century, Meiji period, excellent colour and patina, serious collectors item. These pieces are from my personal collection, sourced from various sources including leading dealers and sale houses.
CONDITION// Very Good.
SIZE// 6.5 by 5 CM.
