Details:This antique John Birge clock is in very good condition. It measures about 38 x 17 x 5 inches. 8 day time with strike. Beautiful clock with nicely carved columns and top splat. The top splat was unfortunately broke, although it is a clean break and should repair good. The bottom right foot /claw has came off.The gold columns have somecracking to the finish on the back. I could not get it to run, however my knowledge of clock repairs is very limited and it could be a simple adjustment. Both weights are there and were in place when I was given the clock. This clock was in a private collection undisturbed for many years. I have not changed a thing since I have had it. The only things I do not have is thewinding and doorkey.
