Thiscast iron body and wood handle Food Chopper belonged to my grandparents. It is marked on one side \"L.F.& C. New Britain, Conn. U.S.A. No. 1 Universal Food Chopper,and on the other side \"Pat. Oct 12, 1897; Apr. 18, 1899; Re. September5, 1899.\" The arm on one side reads: \"GreatBritain 2432897, Brevete SC. DC. 1897. D.R.P. No. 104762 Belgium 139446.\" The other side of the arm reads: \"Pat. May 15, 1900. Canada Pat. Oct. 12, 1897.\" It comes with two grinder attachments. It is 9 3/4 inches tall and the handle is 9 inches long. It still works very well.
