LDBC FLAMBEAU LIMOGES signed Gilbert FLORAL PORCELAIN SERVING PIECES
LDBC Flambeau Limoges hand-painted floral porcelain serving plate, circa 1920. White with two sections of floral sprays and accompanying vines/foliage. Flowers are purple and white, while the fan leaves and stems show green and pink colors. Serving piece is scalloped in shape and is nicely edged with a thick gold gilding. A wide section above the top floral patch and rim are solid gold in decoration. Artist signed \"Gilbert\". White rear of the plate is double marked with a green \"Limoges, France\", and \"LDBC, Flambeau, France, Hand Painted\".
Surfaces are good to very good condition. Some specks and bumps on the front. No cracks, chips, hairlines, or crazing on plates. Charger has a large chip on the rim and also on the rim (foot) on the bottom. Rubbing of the gold gilding evident on all plates.
(4) Plates measure 8 1/2\" in diameter. Charger measures 12 1/2\".
