Beautiful design in this antique machine lace flounce intended to imitate Bucks Bobbin lace.
Most likely 19th century and taken from clothing, nice style and design.
Exceptionally wide. Guaranteed as described. This is a very close copy of handmade lace done by early machine.
It\'s in good condition, there is a seam repair easily seen in the pictures. A few small breaks along the header, and very small breaks in the bottom picot edging, (noticed under magnification), one small square patch. These are shown in the pictures.
No large holes or breaks in the lace. Measurements are given for the full \"in tact\" width of the piece which measures a quite large 72 inches (183 cm) and is 11 inches (28 cm) wide. There is an additional 11 inches of length on one end that has been cut off at the bottom. You can see this in the pictures as well.
