Antique Large Thick Copper Brass Dovetail Primitive Kettle Water Jug Turkish Pot. Handmade between 1800 and 1849.

It measures 11\" tall and 8-1/4\" across the bottom (add an extra inch or so for the handle). Itis 3\" wide at the mouth. The mouth is 3-1/2\" from thehandle to edge of the spout. It holds a full gallon, and an additional pint plus a little more. It weighs two pounds and 13 ounces.

The handle has ascalloped edging on the lower portion where it attaches to the pitcher.
