A late-19th-C to mid-20th-C hand-stitched patchwork quilt authenticated by University of Nebraska\'s International Quilt Study Center Museum curator who notes the \"extravagant quilting plus the size... places it on the \'earlier side\' of ...late 19th-century to mid 20th-century.\" The variation of the Pineapple patchwork pattern is pre-1920\'s according to the curator and symbolizes abundance and good fortune. All patchwork is perfectly executed w/ all squares in excellent condition. Subtle marks on 2 squares are difficult to see when quilt is unfurled; close-ups are in composites. The rear is covered with intricate hand-quilting. A tiny hole (1/4\") is at front-top; a few subtle marks on rear are shown in composites. Quilt-dimensions 92\" x 76\". Each pineapple block is 16.5\" X 16.5.\" Green-edging between blocks is 1.5\" across. Scallops on quilt-edge measure 2.25\" from quilt to outer-edge. No odors. An East Coast (USA) quilt maven has noted market value of this piece at $4800. Please study pictures and note quilt-measurements.
