This Limoges sugar bowl and creamer are elegant with their classic design of gold encrusted bands and rings on a white base.
The sugar bowl has a thin gold line on top rim and bottom rim as well as both handles covered and a thick encrusted gold band at the flair of the top. The lid has a gold knob with the encrusted gold band around the edge.
The creamer has a thin gold line around the top rim and bottom rim as well as both handles covered and a thick encrusted gold band around the flair near the top.Made in France and designed by J. Pouyat, they were made exclusively for Wanamakers, which was located in Paris and New York.
Maker marks are clear to read.
Each have scrolled handles with gold, some gold loss is visible.
The sugar bowl measures 3 1/2\" tall and 6 3/4\" from handle to handle. The creamer stands 3 1/4\" tall and measures 4 1/4\" from spout to handle.
