Four Antique Gutta Percha Frames

The lot includes four 19th Century Gutta Percha frames. Three have individual portraits and one holds a lock of blonde hair. The 8-sided frames measure about 3 inches by 2 1/2 inches each. The hinges and clasps on the 8 sided frames are in good condition. The rectangular frames are 3 inches by 2 1/2 inches as well. The hinges are in good condition. The clasps on the rectangular frames do not clip. One rectangular frame does not have glass, the other have glass in good condition.

Each frame has the original red velvet and gold tin mats. Theouter frames are tooled gutta percha. Generally, the edges show only light wear. The rectangular frame with the circle design has more wear on the left side of the front frame.

This makes a nice, historic antique display.
