This very handsome antique mahogany Sheraton-empire chest has four large drawers with the glove drawers and nicely done back splat. It\'s in a beautiful caramel swirled colored mahogany, the brass pulls are new replacements, all the drawers are dovetailed with chamfered bottoms an slide in and out very smoothly. The chest is 43 1/2 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 51 inches at highest point at top of back splat and is in very good condition with no visible repairs and just a mere age crack on either side which is very common and hardly noticeable. This chest is so pretty that it can be used in a dinning room as a buffet or in a den or living area.
