• I believe the chair is mahogany with satinwood

• Marquetry inlay & carved

• Shell motif, floral & ribbons swags

• cabriole legs

• Louis xv style late 1700\'s ? To early mid 1800\'s?

• seat 20\"x20\"x18 1/2\" woven & fabric has stains & uneven stuffing

• Horsehair stuffing with coils & hand wrought nails tacks

• There also seems to be webbing & a sack cloth inside.

• Possibly from a dining room set side chair

• The joints are loose and will need repair

• Considering its age, there are scratches & scuffs

•approx 20\"x20\"x35\" tall

• the separation on the carving left & right I believe was how it was made because it doesn\'t move & it\'s almost symmetrical
