Antique Meiji Kutani Japanese Eggshell Porcelain Creamer & Sugar Bowl :

This vintage creamer and sugar bowl date from 1900 or earlier. The whole body of both pieces is covered with pearl - white point dots that give it a lacy quality. The handles are in the shape of bamboo. The birds are swallows flying. There are different scenes all the way around that are hand painted. It has gold trim that is slightly worn. The makers mark is on the bottom in red. There are no cracks or chips. Plus no crazing. When held up to the light the light comes thru.
