Antique Meissen Blanc de Chine Table Salts: Lady & Gentleman holding Baskets:

These figures are wearing 18th century dress and holding baskets. They are around 19cm high.
The blue crossed sword mark to each base is for the Marcolini period, they have not been cut or cancelled.
There are two small chips to the gentleman\'s hat and he is missing part of his right thumb and forefinger. The black mark under his left arm is a firing fault. The lady has a small sliver off her left forefinger and another, smaller, sliver to her basket. There is no staining to the pure white china and no restoration.
Although intended as table salts, they make attractive figurines in their own right.
