Meissen Compote
This beautiful, antique, lidded compote is white in color with pink and gold accents, ornate red handles and raised floral embellishments. The raised flowers are pink, maroon and blue in color. The lid has an easy-grasp handle for removal.
The compote stands approximately 6-1/4\" in height (including the lid) and 7\" in width.
The bottom of the piece features the late 1700\'s Marcolini mark and is marked \"1624\".
Some of the flower petals are chipped and the piece shows some interior surface wear including spots of discoloration and soiling.
For its age, this piece has been well taken care of and is in very nice, previously displayed condition.
