This beautiful antique Meissen porcelain cup and saucer is delicately hand-painted with the scattered flora/butterfly pattern. There is a generous use of ornate hand-painted rich gold decoration. The interior edge of the cup and the saucer both show this amazing gold work The saucer is more like a shallow bowl than the modern saucers are. It has the blue crossed sword mark and dates to the 19th century. A gorgeous, stunning antique Meissen cup and saucer!
