For sale is a fun porcelain shoe / slipper made by Meissen in the late 19th century. It is hand painted very nicely with a pink ground color (not obnoxiously bright), lot of nice fancy gold trim and a nicely hand painted floral arrangement on the top front. A nice combination in a color one does not find often at all. The shoe is in great condition with a tiny bit of wear and a darker spot on the top heel from the making. It is nice that this is the largest version of the shoe being 2 inches tall, 6.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as shown.
