Up for sale is an antique mid 19th century Victorian style deep well picture frame with lemon gold liner and portrait print recently found at sale in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. The raoffer is not deep. It is set to take 8x10\" glass where you can cut the corners off straight to make a rounded glass, easier cut. Losses to the surface and gesso, losses to the liner. Wonderful distressed antique frame but also a great restoration piece for the student or experienced. Overall with the 2\" frame it is 11.5 x 13.5\". Wood might be pine. Hanger in 1850s style middle of back so top of painting would lean forward, style in the day.

Please search our store for other vintage and antique collectibles to your liking. Only see one small bubble in the wavy glass - frame might be old than the glass - glass might be 1900, in 1850 there were usually good bubbles. But frame closer to 1850.
