I recently purchased a collection of miniature picture frames from an estate sale ... they all are being listed this evening ... so please take a look at my other offerings for that nice frame for a special photo ...
This listing is for a very nice late 1800\'s brass oval picture frame .. easel back ... nicely embossed acanthus leaf decoration to the framework ...
Included with this frame is a print of an Edwardian woman .. it is strictly a print - not a photo ...
Overall size: 5\" tall .... 3 & 1/2\" wide ...
Interior photo size: 4 & 3/4\" tall ... 3 & 3/8\" wide ...
Condition: Very good antique condition ... old patina to the brass frame .. easel works well, but there is a break in the pin on the right side .. you can see where someone re-wired it to keep it secure ... so it wibbles somewhat, but it does substantially hold the framework erect ... I removed the print and interior to inspect .. there are light edge chips to the glass ... very common in this type of piece and possibly done when the glass was being fitted to the frame ..
Really very good for its 100 years of age and ready to be used ...
