MINTON NURSERY TILE
This rare tile does have a lot of nibbles round the rim, a hairline crack and staining (please see close up macro photos), though still looks okay on display. It is one of the seven in the House That Jack Built series and comes from chapter nine
This is the priest all shaven and shorn,
That married the man all tatter\'d and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That kill\'d the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.
It is marked by Mintons China Works on the back and was made around c1880\'s. It is a 6\" x 6\" tile.
